X800 New drivers cli.exe error

I just downloaded the latest drivers and .net framework 2. Now when I boot I get a "FATAL EXECUTION ENGINE ERROR (0X7927baca) in cli.exe"
Anyone got a fix for this?

Did a google search for:
FATAL EXECUTION ENGINE ERROR (0X7927baca) in cli.exe

Looks like (looking at other hits as well) that it is related to how applications interact with the .NET framework. Apparently, when a program calls something that is at odds with your .NET installation, this error comes up.

There were several solutions on that page that I showed above, just all near the bottom. There may be the answers you seek.

Thanks Heaps I solved my problem by getting rid of .net 2 and installing .net 1.1 worked a treat.
