X800 vs CPU

At what point does the CPU become a bottleneck for the x800? I have a 2600XP on a MSI k7n2 delta-ISLR. will I be able to play FarCry at 16x12?

Thats a great article. I wish they had similiar for pentium. I am thinking about upgrading my chip and a review like that could influence what I should get. I currently run 1600x1200 with no stutter, but I don't have farcry yet. Warcraft 3 and c&c zero hour run fine. Nunchal
