I am going to be upgrading to the X800 XT and I have a question. Would I be able to use the power cable that is shared with a fan? I do have a 420 Watt power supply. I know the 6800 needs 2 that are not shared. Do they make a cable that extends the 4-pin power cable? All I can find are the splitter cables. Thanks

Of course you can share with a FAN, a FAN don't consume mouch power.

That's not exactly a fan.

That's true, but i've seen 120mm fans that draws 3amp from the 12V rail.

I've got three 120mm fans(not connected to anything 🙁 ) that need a 48 volts to run. (I'm not sure but I think they need 1.something amps).

I'm pretty sure that the original poster meant a little HSF/regular fan though

He meant an industrial strength movie set fan to change the weather.
