I like how the cards are 33% faster than the 9800xt and cost $100 less.

If I were buying this generation I'd probably jump on this deal. The pricewatch sites that are trying to get $100 over retail for this card, they tick me off a bit. This deal, the $500 preorder from Best Buy for the X800XT-pe, or waiting and seeing how tests of retail cards shape up. I am curious if the overclockable GF6800GT shines even more later. Those are the options that look the best to me now.

it was my understanding from ati's web site that the pro was $399 and the xt (which is not out yet) is $499.
