futureshop... the answer to all my torturous experimental hardwares.

Well I'm not sure if FS will let you do that. And I checked with them on the same day I saw DOOM3 boxes on the shelf, no X800 until Late June for them. FS is ALWAYS slower than others, the R9600P didn't appear there until about 2 months after I had mine in my rig.

I went to CompuSmart that same night, MMmm Fridge Full of Bawlz!

They don't even have it in their central system yet.

Sorry dude, I think the ONLY place 'til june wil be from ATI themselves. I have seen them advertised at one of my former haunts in Toronto/Thornhill <A HREF="http://www.accountwizard.com/clients/shop.asp?Web=greytech&AW_SessionID=AWEngine2004000000609471132321322Q32e132kId2A32d132SSite4d34j934e&page=item&itemid=976" target="_new">Greytech.ca for $599</A>, which is better than <A HREF="http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=11899&vpn=100-435201" target="_new">NCIX @ 647</A> and <A HREF="http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=11900&vpn=100-435211" target="_new">XT for $799</A>

Of course it doesn't mean it's in their hands, but they are only about 1km away from ATI itself  .

Wusy, that is something to consider, and the stock voltage could be less too, but even more importantly IMO is the lesser memory that comes on the Pro's. Still a very good deal though!

Me: are you saying I can't provide?
Me: cause I know I can provide.
Me: oh and I can provide money too;)
Rachel:): why do we need money when we can just stay in our room and have sex all day?

WTF? Since when? It wasn't even in their computers earlier this week!

Well at least you now have a source.

I really want to see the distribution price of the X800Pro, but lazyass supercom still don't have the X800Pro on their site yet.

Futureshop 30days unlimited return policy, as long as the card's in one piece, i volt modded a TI4200, and failed, within 30 days returned it... They didn't even open the box... So i could've put in my MX400.

Compusmart has 14 days, or was it 15, who cares, anyways they check the hardware component for visible physical dammage, but... They don't care much, a friend of mine on his 9800XT, he removed stockcool, and used ramsinks, but dumbass didn't use thermal epoxy, so he had to remove them and get arctic alumina. But that didn't go too well, during the removal of ramsinks, he pulled a ram off with the sink... He put the XT stock back on(luckily it covers the ram), compusmart actually took it back, and then he bought a 9800pro from them.
