Gateway is at it again. Not sure if anyone got one last time they had this pricing a few weeks ago.

Anyway, Just saw this on techbargains. The manufacturers part number matches with ATI as a platinum edition. Retail platinum edition for under $400 shipped??? Probably too good to be true.

Yeah, I saw it too. I preordered one as well. Kinda silly I suppose, but it's better than paying the 500 to 800 dollars folks are paying for em on ebay now. If I can just find a cheap 90 dollar stop-gap card I'll be happy to wait till next month for it to arrive.

I'll be curious to see if you get it. Last time Gateway had it for $435, they cancelled orders, at least so I read on Anand's forums. I hope you get it; Keep us informed.
If so, Great price. The picture shows the X800Pro, but the number checks out as the XTpe. Not to mention Gateway aslo has the Pro under a differnt number for $1 more.

Just checked web site. Same deal but out of stock They say ships 2 or 4 weeks. But they will not let you ship for free with the 10% discount. I would call them an ask why. When they offer free shipping on $50 plus order.

I took a look over some of gateways ratings a few months back. Although they certainly have good name recognition I was suprised at how crappy their reviews are. Seems to me they built up the name recognition and now they are sliding on it.
