[SOLVED] X99 NVME BOOT WITH PCI-E TO M.2 ADAPTER

Can I buy this adapter https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07VPSWYZ9/ and use this to boot windows from nvme drive?

Reason for that adapter: I have a 110mm m.2 drive (SM953) and I don't have the mounting for my Asus X99 Deluxe II motherboard to put the ssd (and it's too big anyways) And that adapter supports 110mm drives

Yes it will work and boot fine provided you meet the NVME boot requirements. (Bios in UEFI mode...)
Consult your manual on which PCIE3 slot to install it to, the remaining 2 share their PCIE lanes.
