X99 UEFI Bios Need help!

Hi,

i just built a new computer and i noticed that firstly, it keeps starting up with the uefi bios instead of booting up windows. Next, even though on windows i set to never turn off display input on windows, After extended hours of inactivity as i kept the monitor switched off. The display would not come on after i switched the monitor on and spammed buttons on my keyboard and clicks on my mouse. Lastly, Sleep mode. It doesn't boot back after sleep for some reason and i have to reset it.

I'm using a x99 deluxe motherboard with 1.100 UEFi bios. together with windows 8.1

The Windows isn't working.

Try booting into Safe Mode -(F8 - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-au/windows/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode#1TC=windows-7) and do a Computer Repair. Then see if it works.

If not, try F8 again and Last Known Good Configuration (System Restore).

If that doesn't work, re-install Windows.

hi i tried all and it still doesn't work. At this point I'm not too sure what is the problem

a windows full reinstall without keeping any personal setting or a clean full reinstall?

You can't keep any settings or data if you re-install Windows.

>.< its only worked once. when i get to the bios entry screen, it says cpu fan error, is that why it doesn't boot into windows?

i have gone with custom water cooling so there isn't any cpu fan.

At least one of your radiator fans should be plugged into the cpu fan header. Usually two - the other going into cpu opt fan header.
