Hello,

I am looking to purchase the X99E-ITX/ac and 32GB ram (Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-2400) for use with a Intel Core i7-5930K 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor.

If I purchase now do I need to update the bios to support this much ram?

if I do need to update the board, will it support 1 16GB stick so I can do the update?

PC Partpicker list im building from

thanks!

We tested X99E-ITX/ac with Corsair DDR4-CORSAIR-16G-2400-14-LPX-1.2V memory (module name:CMK32GX4M2A2400C14) in our end.

We suggest to use other memory update latest BIOS P1.40 version form our website as below:

Bios update link

Then install the corsair 16GX2 memory on X99E-ITX/ac.

AFAIK, the X99E-ITX/ac will work with 2 x 16 DDR4 memory, as the conclusion of this review mentions. http://www.anandtech.com/show/9391/the-asrock-x99e-itx-ac-review-36-threads/8

right, the board does support it but i'm reading that I may have to update the BIOS. Was wondering if anyone here is using this MOBO with 32Gb ram and had to do the update and if they ran into any issues.
