Hi, i have a supermicro X9dai with 64GB, two XEON CPU's, and an nvidia GTX 560. I had trouble installing a faster 780 TI from Nvidia. So i tried some different settings for the PCI-E bus. I set it to PCI-e 3 somewhere in the menu. This didnt work. In fact, i cannot see the BIOS Menu at all upon start-up. I tried different sockets for the videocard but no change occurs, the computer runs, but i cannot see the screen, and after some minutes the screen shows with a blue screen.
I have some question to other user of this board: Do you know what the keyboard shortcut keys are of the BIOS menus to set it back to factory defaults, and save and then exit? If the computer runs, i can blindly typ these shotcuts to get the basic settings back.
Secondly, what are people using as a video card? There seem to be problems with the heavier Nvidia Cards, i tried to install the latest BIOS, but it wouldnt install on my 64 bit system. Are PCI-E 3.0 cards at all possible with this board? (such as nvidia gtx 980 )
Thanks!
