XB271HU vs PG279Q vs other 1440p monitors

How does the Acer (XB271HU) stack up to the Asus equivalent? As I recall, the PG279Q was regarded as the best 1440p gaming monitor, but I no longer buy Asus.

Are there any other 1440p IPS monitors I should consider?

I should have been more clear, I am looking for 100hz+ Gsync monitors. Ones comparable to the PG279Q.

I'm also looking for ones that people recommend and that are reliable, not just ones with similar stats.

They both use the same panel so performance will be the same. AOC and Viewsonic have also recently added similar displays to their lineup.

I own the PG279Q, great monitor though pricey the joystick is really nice for controlling the menus. Like said above the AOC AG271QG and ViewSonic XG2703-GS are cheaper alternatives and very good from reviews I have seen, they should be plenty reliable. Also like said above XB271HU and PG279Q use pretty much the same AU Optronics panel, they are very similar monitors and both suffer from backlight bleed on some samples so be aware of that.
