Question XB272 Accessory question

I've had my monitor for months now and I have no idea what the plastic hanger thing is supposed to do. I'm thinking its for a headphone but I can't seem to find a notch for it to slot it. Any ideas? Thank you.

I can find no mention of any such part or accessory in that monitor's User Manual so I'm as much in the dark as you are:

Yes that is also my problem 🙁 They don't give out instructions to it as to how it is used. or should be used. It is the 2nd accessory from the left.
