xbox 360 controller for PC?

hello, i have a wireless xbox 360 controller with the plug and play kit, and i was wondering if i could use this for my PC for games like call of duty.

No. It only recharges the batteries. You need an adapter that can pick up the wireless controller.

If you can connect the controller to the PC via USB, then you should be able to use it as a controller.
If not, there might be some driver hack you can do to make a bluetooth receiver (not even sure if thats what the Xbox uses, I know the PS3 does) to use your controller wirelessly.

You can use one of these mate, should work fine. I use one for my MacBook occasionally, might have to download a driver tho:
