Xbox 360 controller not working in Battlefield 3, Help!

I am trying to play battlefield 3 with the xbox 360 controller, it works i mean moves, shots etc but when in game action buttons is required i.e it says click left mouse button i dont know to hit a guy or to avoid something or space bar to climb then it doesnt works, why is that??? is like not mapping well the buttons.

BF3 has very poor controller support, most games have full controller support where the gamepads buttons are played on screen.

I also have this problem but have not gone around it, i just went straight online, which is playable with a controller in most aspects.

There will most probably be a third party program to map buttons and get them working, im sure there will be some results online.
