Xbox 360 controller not working.

Hello.

Problem :
Cannot make my xbox 360 controller work in windows ( and not on my android box as well ).
The driver is installed in device manager.
i see it on my printers/devices on windows.
but the controller do not connect, its (1,2,3,4) leds are blinking and not sync to the receiver.

When i just got the controller from the store, i have connected it to the computer, every thing was installed from windows, and i have installed the software from the CD that came along with the controller and the receiver.

after couple days it just stopped to work, i have changed the batteries,
i have reconnected, i have reinstalled the drivers and the CD software.
i have done every possible thing from the solutions i found from the web.
but nothing is working.

PLEASE...... HELP TO FIND THE RIGHT SOLUTION 🙁
I really want to play with my son on the Xbox 360 controller.

Was the Xbox 360 controller and the receiver original genuine versions?

As the fake ones that look like the orginals are more hassle than they are worth, the buttons feel horrible to use also.

Is it the receiver or the xbox controller that is broken?

Yes they are original, the receiver is working (well at least i think so) it is blinkin when i try to sync.
I tried to write to microsoft but did not find any mail list on support.

i think that i have a special case, maybe because the windows in russian, or i dont know.
some thing is not installed correctly.
the first time i have connected the wireless controller, i saw a red circle on the windows screen.
maybe i need to get a uninstall software, that will delete all files of the software and the drivers.
And then to reinstall every thing.

Ok, so some how i have made something that made windows to notice my wireless Xbox 360 controller to be noticed by the software.
And not i see the controller in the devices.

1. deviced/printer see the controller as : Xbox 360 Controller for Windows
2. deviced/printer see the receiver as : XBOX 360 wireless receiver for windows
3. Microsoft Xbox 360 Accessories - 1 Controller is connected - even if the controller is OFF.

I turn on the controller, but i dont see it is connected on the controller, keeps blinking with all leds and thats it.
i dont get the result as described in the picture below.

And when i try to lunch joy.cpl the controller do not respond.

Any ideas ?

ok, thank you for nothing all .... very helpfull ppl in here.

In any case i will tell you all how to solve any issue for wireless Xbox 360 controller that dont work.

you need to buy an Xbox 360 wire with usb for PC.
plug the wire, and then unplug it .
Problem solved, wireless controller working perfectly on windows.

wire coast ~1.5$ on ebay.
