Ok I will be buying an Xbox 360 Elite. I have no experience with xbox 360s. I want to get live. On my windstream modem there's only one Ethernet port which is being used by some other cable. How can I have live? Please help

Buy an Ethernet router, connect an Ethernet cord from the port on your modem to the Internet port on your router, then connect you xbox and the other device to the other ports on the router.

Ethernet cord. When I had live its what I used. Unless its completely avoidable, you COULD go with a wireless. But they are 30x more expensive (No sarcasm), and in 80% of cases they are worse.
