I connected a 8 gb flashdrive to my new 250 gb xbox 360 and i was able to watch my avi movie files with no problems, i want to by a much larger flashdrive like a 32 gb or an external usb 2 tb harddrive, but i was told the maximum was 8 gb. All im gonna use the harddrives are so i can put all my movies and series n watch them on my xbox, can i do this with a flashdrive more than 8gb or a external usb harddrive?

The maximum that Xbox supports is 16GB, not 8GB.
But if your computer and xbox are on the same network, you can use windows media center or TVersity (which I prefer) to watch movies from your computer.
