Xbox 360 power supply question

not likely. if you know how to make a psu and know where to buy the internal pieces to output the proper voltages and amps, then i guess you could rig something together.

good price for the 360, i'd have bought it myself. just a bit more and you got a working 360 for very little cash. either get one online or hit some local used game stores for one.

good luck with that. not sure i'd try it myself. maybe if i was goofing off and just working on a proof of concept. but for long term use i'd use an official power brick.

as for "safe" that's such a relative term. if you're not opening the psu or 360, then it is likely "safe" from a fire hazard perspective. but that's only a guess from me as i am not an electrical engineer. you can follow what this guy did and pray for the best but not sure i'd do it for long term use.
