Xbox 360 slim vs hd 7770 different resolutions on different system

i got about 300$ , i cant spend more

i can get a second hand core i5 3450 + 6gb ram + hd 7770 + whole casing with dvd drive , hard disk psu and e.t.c but i can get it only if i sell my core 2 duo system.


I got proposal from my friend saying buy xbox 360 slim modified lt 3.0

Which is better in graphic perfomance on my 1080p 46" lcd 1920x1080 where i can install only xbox 360 slim or graphics on my pc on 1280x1080 moniter.

Dudes who will say buy pc as u can do many thing else so i already have core 2 duo and i3 laptop so i wont i5 for them i am just asking for graphic perfomance.....
also can u tell me when will next generation consoles will come like 2014 june? or this year? when? any asumptions?

shield is andriod so no need to invest on it.

A 7770 will perform better in games than the 360 can. 360 runs the newest games at only 30 fps and the lowest settings. And they do that because the xbox doesnt have the right hardware to play games at higher settings with higher FPS. The 360 wont play games worse or better because of different resolutions, you could play a game at 800x600 on the 360 and the framerate wont increase at all. As with a 7770 you could play all the newest games at a decent resolution and settings and if you have a decent CPU even better.

The new consoles are already said to release this year, this hasnt actually been completely confirmed from either sony or microsoft so I would take any word on that. They have said they will be showing them at major events this year.
