xbox can't connect to wifi

We purchased new XBOX 360 250gb system for my son for Christmas. It worked well for one month - now it cannot connect to wireless. In fact, it does not see any wireless networks. How can this be fixed? I purchased a Best Buy but cannot return. Please help - my son (8) is so upset and we spent over $500 on system and games.

Did this come with an integrated wireless or did you get an adapter?
