Hello all, i got the special starfield xbox controller for my pc, im having some issues with it and wondering what can be done to help it - the controller seems to get massive input lag at random times, usualy when im sat a little further back from the pc, and sometimes just loses connection altogether - i have plugged it in and updated it via the xbox accessories app, i have gone to device manager and told it to stop being able to turn the device off on its own, im at a complete loss as to what to do.
I went to my mobo manufacturer site to get bluetooth drivers, but it states they are intel drives for my amd board? i havent a clue if i should use them or not. Please any advice would be helpful!

Right.

The old Xbox controller would pair with dongles or wireless cards just fine. Going from memory, but since the S version they work properly alongside a $25 Xbox branded dongle.

My new one works great plugged in by USB C and I use the older one for Bluetooth on the rig farther away. Not sure if you may have some other issue ongoing with the lag while plugged in.

I havent actually tried to play whilst its plugged in, its a brand new starfield series s/x controller - it connects via bluetooth, but if i sit with my legs between the controller and pc it seems to have massive input issues and disconnect - ill try it plugged in and see if it changes at all, i was hoping id have it wireless - it could be the mobo not working properly as its slightly old, and i havent got the bluetooth drivers because they say they are intel drives and its an amd system.
