Xbox One Controller for PC (Audio-in)

Is there any way to input audio from an AUX cord that is hooked up to the controller(not a headset)?

2| Plug only the mic end to the controllers headset port

3| Then connect an AUX cable from the adapters end to your sound source and probably you will have audio picked up by the controller.

I'm not quite sure why you'd want to do this because the controller is meant to work in tandem with a headset(mic+headphone).

I'm trying to use the Xbox controller as a wireless hookup for my guitar. Would something like this work?
