I tried connecting my Win 10 gaming PC to my Xbox One controller via Bluetooth but Win 10 is not finding it when searching for device. I have the updated Xbox One controller (has Bluetooth button) and I see the X button flash quickly after pressing for 3 seconds. Not sure what I am missing here. Do I need to purchase a USB to Xbox One controller cable to update the controller?

I followed these instructions here Instructions from Xbox.com
Windows 10 ver 1803 build 17134.706

*RESOLVED

You should ideally be on Windows 10 1809 and have you ruled out your BT module on the desktop to be faulty by pairing it with another(donor) system? Speaking of system, please list your specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

Report back with the version for your BIOS as well.

I was able to resolve my Xbox controller issue. I have the older version which requires a USB cable or Bluetooth adapter. It works perfect with my spare USB cable. Thanks!
