have any software been developed that lets mulitplayer users play each other , if one person has Xbox One S and the other person has Playstation 4?

also what would you friends buy, an xbox one s or a playstation 4? what is more worth it in the long run?

what is easier to jailbreak, Xbox One S or Playstation 4? i mean so i can install software on them. such as open source software.

with ps5 coming out will there be a lot of VR games coming out for ps5?

where online can i buy PS VR games?

also, if i cannot afford one of those new Sony Xperia phones, for gaming, can i just buy a PS Vita portable device? is it still a good device? (in 2020?)

as you can tell i like Sony products.

This isn't really a software issue, more of a game development issue. If the game has been developed to allow cross platform multiplayer, then it will. https://www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/all-cross-platform-games/

That's completely subjective. I find most will buy the console that most of their friend group have. Neither will be "worth more" in the long run really, or at the very least, no one would be able to predict that.

Someone may correct me on this, but I rarely see any benefit in jailbreaking - so I don't know the full story, but I believe both are somewhat more challenging than they used to be, if possible at all, but even if they are possible, you'll likely just get banned as soon as you register to any Microsoft or PSN server. So it's not without big sacrifices.

Again no one can predict this, but one would think, yes due to the popularity of PSVR. But also depends on the backwards compatibility of games and VR headsets for the new console as to how much VR it can also inherit from PS4.

They're the same spec, slim is just a different design.

I don’t believe there is any ‘jailbreak’ software. I saw a video on why you can’t install different software on an XBox One and the conclusion was it would require not only new software but new BIOS and drivers. Microsoft have deliberately made it very difficult. I also believe Sony have made it equally complicated for the PlayStation.

At this point neither is a long term investment, by the end of the year once the new generation are out the secondhand market will be flooded with cheap last gen hardware.

i dont have sound on my display monitor, so i just stream my Xbox One S to my laptop and that's how i get sound on my Xbox.

how could i get sound on my Xbox One S if my monitor doesnt have built in speakers?

can i plug in speakers into the xbox one s?

i have logitech speakers.

also if instead of Xbox i use Playstation 4 , how can i have sound on my Playstation 4 ?

i have a few monitors, actually i will check.

but on the monitor i am using now , it is my widest largest monitor it doesnt have an audio output for sure.

I have this monitor Samsung syncmaster 2233 (2233RZ)
