Question Xbox one S Bluetooth controller not showing in iPhone bluetooth list

So I have a bluetooth capable xbox controller that works great on my computer. I unpaired it and pushed the sync button but it is not showing on my bluetooth list on my iPad or iPhone.
I read that the xbox controller is not MFI certified and that is why it is not showing up but I have seen videos of people syncing their xbox controller with their iPad/iPhone.
I also connected my controller to my pc and checked that the firmware was up to date.

Indeed, it's because of controller not having MFI certification.

No doubt you have, but the owner of the iPad/iPhone will first have installed a so-called "jailbreaking" app on it which, amongst other things, removes some of Apple's restrictions.

Don't ask me how to do it as I've no desire to get into that, might not even be allowed to discuss it anyway on THF.

That is too bad. The mfi certified controllers are all garbage
