Xbox One Speakers

Hey everyone,

I have an Xbox One and an Asus VG245H monitor. I just bought some external speakers (A250 Creative), but I can't get any sound from the speakers. The monitor has an audio-out 3.5mm jack, and I have the speakers plugged into it, but am yet to hear any sound. Any help would be appreciated.

First thought:

Are you able to get the A250's to work via another sound source? Have you tried another known working audio connection cable?

Second thought:

Consider that the monitor may need to be configured to use external speakers via the monitor's screen menus.

Do you have the User Guide/Manual?
