Xbox One to Display Port Monitor

Hello,

I will be going away to college this fall and unfortunately cannot take my desktop with me. Instead, I will be taking my Xbox One, however, I do not know how to make it compatible with my ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q monitor. I figure I will need to use an HDMI to Displayport adapter, but I cannot figure out how to use my external PC speakers since my monitor has no headphone jack. Any ideas on how I might be able to use this setup?

The PG279Q has an HDMI port, just use that.

Not sure what you can do about the sound though.
