have an xbox one x and a msi g24c curved monitor that only supports freesync through displayport,does a display port to hdmi adaptor allow me to use freesync with xbox one x?

No, for the XBox One X you need a monitor that supports FreeSync over HDMI:

Using that Rosewill adapter cable with your existing monitor will not make it support FreeSync.
