Xbox wireless adapter

I just received a Xbox 360 wireless receiver and I have the drivers installed but the controller wont sync with the receiver? any ideas

Are you using official Microsoft branded controllers and receiver? The off brand ones often have trouble syncing up from my experience.

I have the official controller but the wireless receiver isnt official...

That might be the problem then. I've had two or three off brand receivers that just refused to sync up with the OEM XBox controllers. Figured it was just an intentional design to force you into buying more stuff. Would try to find an original Microsoft receiver, if you can. Those can be difficult to locate, but it's worth it.

ok thanks, ill look arround for one. do you have any ideas on how to fix them or not?
