Xeon 12 Core

Need recommendations for motherboard to house an E7 4860 V2 Xeon cpu, 12 core, 24 thread. Just single unit boards if possible, please. Thanks in advance.

They are both reliable, strong and support Xeons. They have multiple features and quality control as well as they both have great customer support in the event of an issue.

Are there any that will take ddr3 ram. I have a ton of ddr3 ram that would fill up a good board.

No because the CPU is a 2011-v3 which only works with DDR4. Sorry.

E7-4860 v2 is a Socket 2011-1 / R1 / LGA2011-1 (Ivy Bridge-EX).

The motherboards listed above are Intel Socket 2011-v3.

I only found one compatible model.
Dual socket R1 (LGA 2011) supports Intel Xeon processor E7-2800 v2 / E7-4800 v2
