Xeon 1231 + gtx 970 OR i7 4790k + gtx 960 -- Render/3d/autocad/Photoshop

So basically im at a stall right now. For the applications I said above, which combo would you choose? Im literally going crazy these past days for the build. Will have 16gb ram and want good architecture power

That's an easy one. Xeon + 970

Depends on the renderer. Since you only mention autocad, then that's cpu only and I'd say go with a 6700k.
