Looking for an Overclock~able board in one.
Going to keep surfing the net to try to find one, not
sure how far I'll get though.
I just hope I can still use my 533 MHz bus CPU's till I
decide when I want to upgrade.
ty in advanced..

I found one.
But Iwill won't be making them for a while .
End of February is what they told me.
Takes both 533 and 800 Bus.
Does about everything that a normal good desktop board does
for Overclocking.
Lock AGP/PCI
Turn up FSB/ "Can be changed further then the one I have."
Vcore can be changed.
For the most part, an overclockers dream for a server board.

Asus NCCH-DL is also an overclocker's board - here's a loooooong thread at
2cpu.com on the ncch-dl;
http://forums.2cpu.com/showthread.php?s=092b9f9f29e3de72bc2baa9420af8827&threadid=52272&perpage=30&pagenumber=1

Nobody posting in that thread seems to have been able to push a pair of
Nocona Xeons very high as yet but there's definitely potential there with
the ncch-dl's twin VRMs - Nocona's are power hungry beasts. In the GamePC
review of this board, they said the PCI bus & AGP port aren't locked, but
AFAICT they are - Canterwood is now well and truly mature tech'...

I am in process of building two watercooled machines for my CP-boinc farm, &
for my own general use, based on the NCCH-DL using 3.0GHz D0 stepping
Noconas - I had to send one Xeon back to OC_UK 'cause it threw errors when
run at 100%, at spec speed, or even when underclocked to 2.8GHz, but the
motherboards are both good AFAICT...

Ciao...

It would seem though that the Iwill DH800 is still the only one you can turn
up vcore of the cpu
I think anyway.

I love this line..
"Anyone can buy a Xeon motherboard and run it at stock speeds,
but few dare (or are daft enough) to overclock
such an expensive combination"
Yeah, lol, I'm one of them.
Asus PC-DL Deluxe.
2xCPU's = 2.66 GHz Running @ 3.2 GHz
Mixed Ram.
PC2100 and PC2700 1GB in all.
All four of my DIMMS are full.
That's running @ PC3200 Speeds.

Anyways, ty for the links.
