I install Xeon to my P8-b75-m with Intel cooler E97379-001 recently. Turbo mode is on.
Test him on 100% - temperature 80 C.
In the idle state - 32-42C.
Tried "Witcher 3" for 10 minutes - temperature didn't go upper 70 C.

I will try to change thermal paste to better one also, mb it's will lower the temp.

However, please let me know if i should upgrade the cooler or the current one is sufficient. If so, with which parameters i should look the cooler?
Thanks!

try to remove side panel from case, if temperature under load drops considerable, then u may have insufficient case airflow (building up heat in case, mostly from GPU, which will rise other compenents temperatures)
It's already without side case.
Hm, never think about GPU(gtx 970). You may be right. Any suggestion on how to fix it?

70 c under load is slightly high but usually not to high. as long as you dont get over 75 c on load its ok.

i use this cooler with intel xeon e3 1270 , it uses backplate so you might have to remove the motherboard to put it on.

this one uses pushpins and dont need backplate for installation
