Xeon E5335 gaming?

I've gotten my hands in an old e5335 and was wondering if it would be good enough for gaming?

It is an old, slow, four core processor, so it's throughput will be low. What motherboard do you have? Will it even run that CPU (LGA 771)?

A Haswell i3 is about twice as good.

No, not at all. Not worth building a whole rig using it as a base. Although it is a quad core, it is pretty weak.
