Ok now before someone blows up on me... THIS IS A HYPOTHETICAL QUESTION!!!

I always wondered of course, if some rich kid moron decided to put a dual Xeon E7 8870 rig together (Yes folks that's 20C/40T of insanity), how powerful would it be for things like gaming(lets say he has 4 titans backing it up) and he has maxed out the ram, what kind of beast would it be? I imagine something like that would be cranking Crysis 3 with no problem. So i ask would that be good for gaming ( i know it would NOT make sense to do it so don't even bother saying that ).

I figure that it would put the FPS on MineCraft in scientific notation in Yotta-FPS... (yes i like MC)

It would be about as good as a Titan or 2 and a really good processor. It would also make a better space heater than an overclocked FX 9590. With that kind of power, the hardware power would vastly out perform the software, you would hit a performance ceiling, so to speak.

Xeons can give you the better performance in some situation for gaming but there are many other options are available like EVGA SR2 motherboard

He's not talking Xeon 1230. He's talking 10 cores, 20 threads, $5,000. They are strictly server chips.

Xeons are made for servers but can be used for gaming. A setup like this would max out Crysis 3 no problem. As the other guy said, the hardware would be too powerful for the software (I mean that you can still play the games).
