Hello, I am thinking of buying a Xeon Phi coprocessor but am unsure about the compatibility with my Gigabyte H97 Gaming 3 with LGA 1150. Would anyone be as kind as to help me find answers? Gigabyte provides no data on this and I definitely don't want to waste money on an incompatible component.

Solution
Any PCI-E x16 card should be compatible with your system as long as it fits the following the following criteria.

>Your power supply supports the card. (Has enough wattage, and has the required connectors.)
>Fits your case
>Your motherboard has the required PCI-E x16 2.0 slot to function

Motherboard brand or model doesn't really matter as they all follow the same standards.
