[SOLVED] Xeon x3470 or i7 870 (first gen)

Recently my cousin gave me an old desktop that he was using that had an Intel core i3-540 (lga 1156) and a Geforce 9500GT. I have upgraded the GPU to a RX 560 which works wonderfully but now my CPU is bottlenecking the whole system and was wondering if I should get an i7 870 or a Xeon x3470.

I would've easily chose the i7 870 but currently in my country the i7 870 is almost 2-3 times the price of a Xeon x3470 which offers the same performance. I wonder if it's worth it to just buy the Xeon instead of the i7? My motherboard is a gigabyte ga h55m s2 btw.

Buy the x3470.
