Xeon X5450 On an old motherboard (mod)

Hi, i want to use A Xeon X5450 on an old HP motherboard (3048h) I'm not sure if the motherboard can give the cpu enough power, can you help me please, the cpu is A 771 socket but i've bought it from ebay saying it's modded for 775.

Your HP motherboard has the Q43 chipset, according to the site ( LGA 771 to 775 Adapter (MOD) ), the Q43 does not support any xeon 5xxx cpu.
