xeon x5677 vs x5675

hi guys, i currently have a dual xeon e5620 and planning to upgrade to a higher clock one.

there is two candidate i have choosen, but imy confuse on which one is better, the X5677 (4C,8T) or the X5675 (6C,12T)

i use my pc for render and gaming too with gtx 1070 and a Quadro card

I would look at the X5687 3.6GHz 4C/8T.
