Xerox Scanning to email not working

Hello,

There is a printer: Xerox 7556 Workcentre that has been working completely fine with scanning to email for the past year, until today. Nothing has changed on the printer, I have checked all the SMTP settings etc. and they all check out. I can't
understand why it is not working, whenever it goes to do a scan to email job it just has "transferring" and then after a while it disappears.

I found the resolution a couple of weeks back, it was the logs that was causing the system resource of the printer to become low, this explains why it would work for a couple of scans after a restart but then it would ah heck up again. Every time I scan/print it creates logs that store themselves on the printer itself, I created a job on the printer to delete this log weekly and haven't had the problem since. Bit of a weird issue but it sorted this problem, though it would be worth putting on here if someone had a similar kind of problem with Xerox.
