Anyone know how the recording space of Xfinity's X1 DVR compares to their legacy DVR? Talked to a Comcast/Xfinity rep about it, they weren't much help and basically stated X1 had 150 hours of recording space where my legacy DVR has 60 hours of recording space which simply isn't true. With my legacy DVR, recording space isn't determined by how many hours a program is, but how much hard drive space it takes up, so theoretically I can record 300 hours of programing(HD) since 3 hours of programing only consumes 1% of my DVR space.

Solution
It all depends of the quality of the show you're recording. HD programs take more space then SD. It sounds like your old one has the 500GB hdd and the new ones have 1TB (=1000GB)
