Wifi only works in one room. Signal excellent In every room
But only connects to internet in one room in the house. I'm an xfinity customer trying to connect to hotspot near job, I don't have access to router . I tried changing DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 no luck. Ip is 169.254.243.xxx.when I'm in the room that connects , DNS changes to 75.75.75.75, 75.75.76.76 and ip changes to 10.2xx.xxx. I was thinking of contacting the business hosting the hotspot to tell them to restart it, but they may not even know that they are extending the hotspot, and I dont want to alert them, and then they opt out completely. Please help. I tried changing static to settings that displays when connected in the working room, it connects, times out and say my DNS has an error and there is no internet connection. It does the same thing on all 6 of my devices.please help
