Hello all. I recently purchased an XFX Radeon HD 4890 from Newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150359

I have been out of the PC game loop for a while, so when I set everything up and started gaming I was satisfied. Recently, however, I've been noticing people were complaining about the 2x6pin revision of this card (which I got), saying that it underperforms by as much as 26% compared to other 4890 cards. I got worried, so I ran some numbers, and they do seem lower than what others report for this GPU.

Here is a FurMark test result:

I am running the test at native resolution on Windows 7 Pro prerelease. Note that I have already cleaned old drivers and installed the latest Catalyst software.

So, what do you all think? Do I have a loser card?

Just fyi, I am running a 500W PSU, this one in particular: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817703016
It should be enough for this card.
