Is the said PSU any good for my build:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor (€184.27 @ Mindfactory)
Motherboard: ASRock H97 Anniversary ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (€76.79 @ Mindfactory)
Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (€43.99 @ Amazon Deutschland)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (€56.33 @ Mindfactory)
Video Card: 3072MB VTX3D Radeon R9 280X Boost Edition V3 Aktiv PCIe 3.0 x16 (Retail) (€184,90 @ Mindfactory)
Power Supply: XFX TS 550W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply (€77.94 @ Mindfactory)

Ignore prices listen from amazon most of it will be bought from mindfactory.de and built myself. If the PSU is good is it a good deal or are there cheaper but equal quality PSUs available on said site.

For anyone having trouble browsing german this is the section where the PSUs are listed.

Any help is appreciated.

I am just looking for options to tune the price down a notch since I had to use a h97 mobo because 4460 is a haswell refresh and apparently I'd have to update the mobo bios to use a haswell refresh, for which I need a regular old haswell cpu (which I don't).

So I thought can I turn down the price on the PSU since the PSU list dictates it's really high quality so I might be getting something that is not really necessary. But I don't want a fire hazard, especially since I have an AMD card picked and they spike in power (which is funny cheaper then nvidia but forces me to get quality PSUs so the prices equal out lol).

Anyways are there any, I dunno say 45-50€ alternatives, if not I'll stick it out and bleed a few extra bucks 🙁

Dollars won't work because europe is too damn expansive. Whatever costs 40 to 50 dollars ends up being 60 to 70 euros.
For instance the shop (and I chose to buy everything at one store since I only pay shipping cost once not for every part individually) where I am buying does not have an EVGA PSUs and the corsair CX600M is about 5 euros cheaper then the XFX.

I am sticking to the XFX it's a great price for a high quality gold PSU.

I am ditching that VTX 280x, according to reviews it runs too hot and noisy for my taste and cutting back on budget heavily with a gigabyte 950 OC edition.

Accourding to reviews it OCs like a champ, it's tolerable noise at 70% fan speed, great temps and almost matches the 960 which if I want decent one like gigabytes etc costs almost 200€ vs the 160€ I pay for the 950.

With the XFX PSU somewhere down the road I can always get the GTX 970 G1 or the R9 390 G1 maybe even 980 or 390x as I am sure the i5 doesn't bottleneck it too much.
