[SOLVED] XFX 580 crazy loud

Hey guys, I got my XFX RX 580 GTS black edition yesterday for this next PC flip, and it’s super loud! It was used, but I’ve thoroughly cleaned it and replaced the thermal paste. Temps are around 76c when running furmark and fans are at 96%. This thing is super loud. No way I’d want to sell this when it’s this loud. Anyone know a fix?
Full system specs are:
i5-7400
3x4gb DDR4 2133MHz
Gigabyte Z270P-D3
Corsair 220T
Rosewill Arc 450w PSU
XFX RX 580

It might be an issue with that model. Just yesterday I heard someone having a noise complaints with that model GPU.

I would try setting a custom curve with something like MSI afterburner.

I wouldn't worry about not selling it due to noise. A lot of prebuilts use blower coolers on even GPUs like 2080ti and have 0 regard for noise.

It is not 'loud'. At all.

Running that same furmark, temp peaks and stabilizes at 77C. Fan at 99-100%.
I can hear it, but not' loud'.

Video makes it sound a little quieter than it actually is.
This thing is definitely loud. I can hear it very well from across the room

Yea the video doesn't sound too loud at all.. Furmark isn't a realistic workload for a gaming pc. How is the noise in a game?

I can barely hear it, 3 feet away, with the side panel off.

The only thing i can think of that would make a gpu much louder than an identical gpu at the same fan rpm would be if the fan bearings are worn
