XFX 6870 and 3 monitors.

I am trying to connect 3 monitors to my graphics card. The connections on the card are HDMI 1.4a, Display port 1.2, DVI dual link and DVI single link x 2. The connections available on the monitors are:- Monitor 1 -DVI, monitors 2 & 3 - VGA or HDMI. I can get any two monitors working but not 3. Help!

You won't be able to get 3 displays to work if you use a VGA connection on any monitor. You need all 3 displays to be connected via a digital connection (HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI). Use adapters to configure with this in mind and you should be fine.

The VGA is connected via an adaptor into the DVI output. Will this still not do?

No. That makes it an analog connection. All 3 need to be digital.
