XFX 6870 vs GTX 550 Ti

I have a GTX 550 Ti at the moment and i have the opportunity to upgrade to a XFX 6870, is it worth the upgrade? If yes, how much of an increase in performance will I be expecting?

So are we talking about maybe a 20% increase in performance?

Depends on how much money it would cost you to upgrade. $20-40 would be worth it in my opinion, any more and it isn't (even $40 may be pushing it).

Dont get the xfx one, get the sapphire one, xfx has some heat issues.
also they are of same price or sapphire is little less i think.
