I get this card for free and when i run the game it has some black dots on the screen, i restarted my PC and than i didn't see the cars in game what could the problem be.

Game i tried to play is NFS Hot Pursuit
CPU is AMD Athlon II X2 240
GPU is XFX 7950 GT 512MB DDR3
ADATA 1GB DDR3 1333Mhz
Windows XP SP3 Professional
Power Supply is Codegen 500W model:300XA

Chances are that you may have been given a bad card but it could be overheating. Check the fan and clean any dust. Second you have very little ram and most modern games are not going to run very well and may have issues with missing textures when memory runs low. Third the psu looks like to be one of those junk brands and could be at fault if it is not providing enough power.

Thanks for replay.

Looks like you don't have enough ram. But if this game is anything like NFS Shift your video card doesn't have enough ram either. Add another 1gig stick of the same stuff or get 2 2gig sticks of something else in the same speed range/voltage, etc.

i have another card ATI HD 4670 512MB GDDR4 and i bought 2GB of ram but on NVIDIA 7950 i stil got that black spot's i think the PSU is the problem. on ATI HD 4670 NFS HP runs great. it is not important if this card is bad or good, i was just curious what the could be the problem, cause i got those black things when i overclock to much graphic card but now i didnt OC the graphic card and those black things are on the screen, can a problem be if the PSU does not give enough power to graphic card.
Sory for bad english if wrote something wrong.and thanks for reply's.

Chances are that your card is overheating or is failing. The Geforce7 generation were always a little funky and quirky when it came to temps and quality but some were always rock solid. If the ati card is doing a very good job then it is time that you use it for a while.
