XFX 850W PRO (P1-850X-XXB9) Ticking noise issue

So i've had my XFX P1-850X-XXB9 running fine in my PC for a week. tonight i noticed a tick/clicking noise coming from the PSU.

i googled and found these 3 videos of the identical noise.

how long will an RMA take ? i might just have a go at fixing it myself. any ideas on what i should do?

I believe it is an fan issue, I wouldn't suggest opening up a PSU and swapping the fan, pretty risky in there

RMA will be how it takes to ship to California, how long it takes for them to fix it (1-2 weeks) or replace it (less than 1 week) and how long it takes to ship back

i've just fixed it!

i unscrewed the fan cover (4 black screws that hold the mesh fan cover on)

i pushed down gently on the fan, it spring back up and did this a couple times. i have a feeling its a lubricant issue.

my PC has been running 10 minutes without a hint of that noise.

hopefully, if it is a lubricant issue, i may have to void my warranty to fix it myself i cant be without a PC for 2 weeks.

If so what lubricant would i need and where would i lubricate... that is the question.

That is beyond my expertise unfortunately

I would think a good quality silica lube spray will do the job and it is non conductive.Try and spray beyween the fan and its spindle
