Hi all,
I have bought XFX ATI Radeon HD5670 (1GB, DDR5) recently. My motherboard is GA-M61PME-S2P (has NVIDIA® GeForce 6100 / nForce 430 chipset). When I put this graphics card in available pci express slot and restart, no signal is coming to monitor (monitor is connected to graphics card through "dvi to vga connector"). I can hear Ubuntu startup (I have dual boot Ubuntu/Windows 7). In bios, i have selected onboard graphics to disable if any card is present in PEG slot (which I believe is same as PCI-express). I have updated my bios to the latest but no result yet.

Can somebody help me.
my system:
mobo: GA-M61PME-S2P
cpu: DualCore AMD Phenom II X2 545, 3000 MHz (15 x 200)
ram: 2GB

It is working with onboard graphics. But when I plug the card it stops. After looking in different places it seems that problem may be because, card has PCIe 2.1 and my motherboard has slot for PCIe 1.1.

My PSU specification says 450w, so most probably that may not be an issue.

So far in forum I have not seen any solution except replacing the graphics card with PCIe2.0 version.
